Party Over Here! (And, Bon Week-End!)

Hello folks!  

It’s Friday (yay!) and we’re having server issues at work.

This is all very good as my co-worker Mr. Belgium and I are going out to present a project to some clients. Which means good food, getting out of here and we don’t have to come back in the afternoon.

Tomorrow (Saturday), I’m having a mini-bash in my house. My brother’s coming up alone tonight and I’m cooking lunch and having friends over. Bro will leave on Sunday evening. He’s coming up just to see me, isn’t that nice?    :-)

He and I realised how much we miss one another when we were having so much fun last month on holiday.  He’s accumulated quite a bit of airline mileage and decided to use it to come up and see me. Plus I also think my sis-in-law is getting extra moody and wierd because of her pregnancy and he’s trying to escape and get a break.

I haven’t decided what I’m going to cook, though it’ll all be done outside on the grill though I may do a lamb couscous as well.

Invitees are:

• Mr. Thabiso
• Nne (my Nigerian super friend)
• Emerance and Guy (She’s Rwandese, he’s not)
• M. (Thabiso’s friend)
• Charles (African American and Nne’s soon-to-be paramour)
• My cousin ‘Selam’ and her crazy husband (the kids and my aunt and uncle are in Minneapolis at another cousin’s)
• Aisha and her kids (not the husband)
• My lady friend from Malindi (I hope she shows up)
• Mr. Hot (the guy my sister hooked me up with)

So, after the work presentation this afternoon, I will go grab the groceries and Thabiso said he’ll leave work early and help me. He can cut up vegetables while I get other stuff organized.

Nne will arrive later, around 8pm and she’s gonna stay with me as always.

By the way, I went on another date with Mr. Hot last night and it was greeeeat! Man, the guy is so hot and on it but I’ll tell you about that next time.

So, lemme get my stuff ready so Belgium and I can get out of here. I actually am super-dressed up for work today because of this meeting.
