Wishing Safety For All

July 10, 2009 by kaasa

OUMOU

Hello!       :-)

No long post tonight and just wanted to say:

1. First and most important, I pray for my cousins, you and your families in Kenya, now that Ocampo has the list. I pray there won’t be threats and posturing by the guilty, no violence and that all will be well.

2. Sometimes I try to comment on some blogs but for whatever reason, Blogger always produces an error message when I do type up comments and try to post on these blogs. There are many Kenyan blogs I read and enjoy but am incapable of commenting on (especially those hosted by Blogger).

3. Regarding the ‘hooker’ passage in my last post, I want to write a detailed post on prostitution in Kenya/C. Africa but have to think about how to word the whole thing. Usually, I just type and don’t think about what I’m writing. But I want to think about this one first.

Have a great day and greater weekend!

(Song of the century!)

:-)

Thank you Kaasa :-) for the good wishes. May God help us all with Ocampo related issues!

Pole about not being able to post on some blogger blogs, blogger settings always have a lot of issues. Even I, can’t comment on some (sometimes).

Someone wrote an email to me and said my site is too ‘heavy’ and takes too long to load on their OS, I had put all sorts of javascripts so I have cut down immensely in the last few days.

WordPress themes are so simplistic, they just don’t meet my fancy. And everyone in wordpress more or less has the same thing, I like decorating!! Why am I telling you this?

    Sasa Kaasa

    I love the Pic.

Yes, Ocampo now has the list and this being Kenyan, it is not a matter of if there will be posturing but rather when and how severe and divisive. But let them posture all they want, if they are guilty, they will no longer have a place in this country soon enough.

I have the same problem with blogger. Commenting there is like creating a new blog altogether – too cumbersome and I am sometimes locked out of commenting because of… It has red tapes like the Government :)

@ Mama, I was at blogger before discovering wordpress.

    Regards

A quick run through Ocampo’s wikipedia page, and a few news results says he has a liking for big high profile cases and has been taking down govt officials in Argentina and abrioad since 1982. If I were one of them PEV violence perpertrators the time to settle one’s debts is now!

Yep. Let’s pray all goes well.

    @Marvin,
The lady in the pic is my girl Oumou Sangare.

    She’s my heroine!
